Extra Protection

Protection against corrosion is ensured by strictly controlled shot blasting and finishing with 130 microns of two-pack paint marine specification paint.  Common wearing parts of the Bio muckspreaders are galvanized for extra protection.

New Bio muckspreaders

K Two Bio is a new range of muckspreaders with capacities of 12t and 14t  The Bio is a rear discharge muck- spreader built to the same high standards as the well established K Two Duo range, but featuring two horizontal beaters with a hood for fine shredding of the load and two spinning discs for spreading the material up to a 24m bout width, rather than the traditional twin vertical beater design. 

The Bio features shaft driven rotors to provide a constant power transfer and reduces the amount of maintenance as associated with chain driven machines.  The rotors are fed by a chain and slat bed drive system which features four chains with a breaking strength of 100 tonnes, and a Ø60mm solid rear floor drive shaft.
