Evo Muck Spreaders

Precision is spreading with the new Evo range.

Introducing our new flag ship range: Evo, developed to meet the spreading needs of compost, chicken litter and sludge cake across 12 to 24 m.

The variable texture of composts and sludge cake needs consistent, accurate spreading with oversized vertical beaters and extra thick rotor flights operating at high speed.

The Evo achieves this with two dynamically balanced vertical rotors with 950 mm flights and 1,250 mm large spreading paddles. The high tensile 10 mm thick rotors achieve tip speed in excess of 40 mph from 1,000 rpm input. These are driven by a 180 hp heavy duty one piece gear box protected by shearbolt and automatic slip clutch. Four 16 mm marine floor chains provide 120 tons of breaking strain, hydraulically driven by a large 75 mm rear drive shaft c/w high tensile drive sprockets. These are electronically operated from within the cab. Bolt on floor slats effectively convey the load along the 1.6 m on the floor with an impressive 2.4 m wide flare at the top. The slurry door guides muck to the beaters to achieve a consistent spread pattern of between 12 and 24 m.

Evo models are fitted with 150 mm square commercial axles with 420 x 180 S-Cam brakes plus hydraulic folding light assemblies. The range is available in 1400, 1600 and 1800 ton capacities.
